THE CERAMIX SHIELD WAY
Your vehicle deserves special treatment. The very first step in the Ceramix Shield Way is to perform a meticulous hand wash using a ph balanced soap and non acidic cleaners. We use clean and soft chenille wash mitts that pamper your paint with loads of ph balanced soap. We then rinse your vehicle with low pressure water. Drying your vehicle is next. We use ultra soft microfiber drying towels along with an air blower to make sure your vehicle is spot and streak free. We would then move onto exfoliating the paint to remove environmental contaminants in the paint using a light duty clay bar and a lubricating spray. Paint exfoliation with leave your paint feeling buttery smooth and gives us the perfect surface preparation to start the polishing process. The polishing process is a 1 to 3 step procedure. The number of steps depends on the paint condition and we will adjust the process based on our initial paint evaluation as well as performing a paint thickness test using an electronic paint depth meter device. Ceramix Shield uses only the highest quality rotary buffers, dual action polishers, compounds and ceramic coatings to get the absolute best results. The services above are for gloss enhancement and paint protection only.
(These services do not include a paint correction.) Paint correction is a multi-level process of polishing the paint using specific compounds and machines to remove surface defects such as scratches, swirls, spider webbing, acid rain, hard water spots, oxidation or chemical etching.

PAINT CORRECTION AND CS-5 CERAMIC COATING
- PREP :
- Meticulously hand wash tires, wheels, fender wells, grill, bumper, emblems, body & door jams, dry vehicle via chenille drying towels and air blower, clean exterior glass, apply tire dressing and wipe off excess to reduce slinging. Exfoliate the paint using a light duty clay bar and lubrication spray.
- INSPECT :
- We will visually inspect your vehicles paint condition as well as perform a paint thickness evaluation using a paint depth gage to document paint imperfections and paint thickness. This an important step to insure we have the proper amount of paint thickness to perform a paint correction if needed.
- POLISH :
- Perform a micro polishing procedure using a single step micro polishing liquid and dual action machine polisher to enhance shine and remove fine scratches.
- PROTECT :
- Meticulously apply Ceramix Shield CS-5 ceramic coatings by hand making sure to evenly cover all painted surfaces.
- PRESENT :
- Thoroughly review all work performed by Ceramix Shield with the customer to assure all work was completed to the highest level of standards and exceeds the clients expectations.
Time : 1 - 2 days
LEVEL 1
This service is a Single Stage Polishing Process for vehicles that have very minor scratches and spider webbing in the paint. This service is typically not required for brand new vehicles but an assessment will be completed to evaluate the condition of the paint.
LEVEL 2 - PAINT CORRECTION (REMOVES MEDIUM SCRATCHES) APPLY CERAMIC COATING
Time : 2 - 3 days
LEVEL 2
This 2 Stage Paint Polishing Process includes all of the LEVEL 1 Polishing Processes with the addition of 1 extra Polishing step on the entire paint surface. The LEVEL 2 Paint Correction is a 2 stage Polishing Process for vehicles that have medium depth scratches as well as very light scratches, light oxidation, scuffs or spider webbing in the paint.
LEVEL 3 - PAINT CORRECTION (REMOVES DEEP SCRATCHES) APPLY CERAMIC COATING
Time : 3 - 4 days
LEVEL 3
This 3 Stage Paint Polishing Process includes all of the LEVEL 1 AND LEVEL 2 Polishing Processes with the addition of 1 extra Polishing step on the entire paint surface. The LEVEL 3 Paint Correction is a 3 stage Polishing Process for vehicles that have deep scratches on a majority of the vehicles surface or heavy oxidation has occurred. A level 3 Paint Correction may also be required when a vehicle has been exposed to hard water damage, acid rain damage or chemical etching.
