Professional Procedures for Ceramix Shield CS-5 Coating installation
INSTRUCTIONS:
All procedures should be conducted in a dry space, out of direct sunlight.
One 50ml bottle should be enough coating to do 1-2 standard sized vehicles.
Keep vehicle away from airborne contaminants.
CS-5 will not cure in temperatures below 41 degrees.
Always wear protective gloves and CS-5 should only be applied in a facility with fresh air circulating.
1) Thoroughly wash and dry painted surfaces.
2) Exfoliate paint using a mild clay bar and lubricant.
3) Paint correction
Polish paint to remove imperfections - multiple steps may be required.
4) Oil and dust removal
Remove dust particles and oily residue from paint using a water / alcohol mix. always use fresh and clean microfiber towels.

CS-5 application procedures
5) Prime the applicator pad
With protective gloves on, Prime the applicator evenly with a generous amount of CS-5 so that the pad is damp.
6) Apply
Apply CS-5 with overlapping strokes to a small panel. Apply enough CS-5 to coat the panel evenly, making sure the applicator stays fluid upon application. Do not over saturate the panel.
7) Flash Cure
Allow product to flash dry. CS-5 is ready to smooth out within 1-2 minutes after it is applied to the panel. Always use a brand new, folded twice microfiber towel to smooth out the CS-5. Use a second, brand new and folded twice microfiber towel to remove any smearing. Only 1 coat is needed of CS-5.
8) Inspect
Inspect the coated surfaces for residue using a diffused light source. Buff by hand as needed to level out the coating
9) Keep it dry!
Allow the coated surfaces at least 24 hours to cure before exposing it to any type of water. Full cure may take up to 30 days.
